Information collected

The publication may collect an email address, subscription status, payment-related account identifiers, delivery events, and engagement information such as opens or link clicks. Correction emails and support requests contain the information voluntarily supplied by the sender.

Service providers

Newsletter delivery and subscriber management are expected to be provided by Buttondown. Payments are expected to be processed by Stripe. Those providers process information under their own privacy policies. The publication does not receive full payment-card numbers.

Use of information

Information is used to deliver the digest, manage subscriptions, process payments, monitor deliverability, respond to correction reports, prevent abuse, and understand whether the publication is useful.

Sharing

Subscriber information is not sold. It may be disclosed to service providers needed to operate the publication, when legally required, or in connection with a transfer of the publication.

Choices

Subscribers may unsubscribe or manage their subscription using links included in each email. Requests concerning stored information may be sent to hello@gaappealsdigest.com.

This page may be updated as the publication’s providers and practices change.
